Our Values
Education
North West Regional Landcarers use evidence-based approaches to manage soils, water, and restore landscapes. As a regional body, we provide education led by thought leaders to improve practices across the North West catchments. Our goal is to unify communities and promote resilience by modelling best environmental practices in agriculture and sustainable living.
Partnership
The North West Regional Landcarers are committed to harnessing the power of partnerships to create robust networks and connections in our region. Our approach is founded on principles of value for money, utilising existing knowledge bases and networks of thought leaders, and implementing strategic programs that drive meaningful change.
Community
We support and empower Landcare members by helping source and implement strategic projects in collaboration with local groups. NWRL work to build community resilience with a focus on mental health, youth engagement, and First Nations needs. We foster strong partnerships to create lasting, community-led environmental change.
Advocacy
As the regional Landcare body, NWRL Landcarers are dedicated to enhancing public awareness of Landcare in the North West Region of NSW. Our mission is to construct influential platforms that engage existing members while extending our influence to those who have not yet embraced Landcare. We firmly believe that even small changes can contribute to the greater picture, where every effort impacts the overall outcome, particularly in the vital areas of ground cover, biodiversity, soils and landscape rehydration.
